Travel notes

17 October 2026 is Issa’s actual 70th birthday.
ETS EP9326 departs JB Sentral at 09:55 and arrives KL Sentral at 14:05.
Leave Singapore by cross-border Grab at 05:15; 05:30 is the latest comfortable target.
Batu Caves is entrance-only; do not climb the 272 steps.
Use Grab liberally to minimize unnecessary walking.
Keep regular rest periods for Issa, especially after the early start on 17 October.
On 19 October, check out and leave luggage at the hotel before starting the day's activities so there is no need to rush back before the 11:00 checkout time.
Skybridge/Observation Deck has been removed from Sunday; Petronas exterior photos and Suria KLCC browsing replace it.
Jaycee’s confirmed first flight is Scoot TR467 KUL Terminal 2 → SIN Terminal 1, 18 Oct 22:45–19 Oct 00:05, connecting to TR588 SIN → MNL 19 Oct 01:50–05:50.
Jaycee should leave the hotel around 18:15–18:30 on Sunday 18 October to target KLIA Terminal 2 by about 19:30–20:00.
Sunday Jalan Alor is an early stop; some food stalls may open later, so keep a nearby dinner fallback.
Saturday birthday dinner is tentatively THIRTY8 at 18:00; Envi Skydining remains an unconfirmed alternative.
On Monday, check out and leave luggage before visiting Batu Caves; collect bags only before departing Kuala Lumpur.
